First Steps

My dad was totally commited to making Isaac walk this last weekend. So he worked on it with him and sure enough, Isaac took his first steps. He's been stepping out on his own ever since. Although he does struggle balancing with his thigh rolls getting in the way!

"Weekend o Fun"

First big sno of the year! We were at my parents' house last weekend for a wedding for Josh's best friend and had some time to take the kids outside for some snow fun. They made snow angels and helped daddy shovel the sidewalk. It was pretty cold for Isaac so we pretty much just sat him in the snow long enough to take a few pictures and then I took him inside while the big kids played some more. We all went inside to warm up and take baths and then Lilah and daddy snuggled up for a nap.

Josh and I were pretty busy with wedding activities most of weekend because Josh was a groomsmen. Josh enjoyed getting to catch up with several close friends from high school. The wedding was beautiful and we are so happy for Josh and Amanda Tussing. =)

The other big highlight of the weekend was getting to pop over to Columbus and hang out with the Ross family for a few hours on Sunday. Josh had to get our snowblower from the Hilliard house and do a couple small house repairs, so I took the kids over to the Ross' house. The kids had a BLAST with Brenna, Ava, and Lila and are missing them already! And I loved getting to catch up with Erin too. =) We can't wait for baby Cracker to join the mix and make our get-togethers even more fun!

It was a busy and fun weekend!

Rainforest Cafe

My parents came up to Michigan a couple weekends ago for a little visit and brought my youngest broher, Dave. We went to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch on Sunday and it was great. The kids loved the aquariums everywhere and when all the animals came to life the kids went nuts. It was a lot of fun. The pcture of Lilah was the firstime the animals moved. She was completely stunned at first. Definitely a great place to go with kids for a special outing. =)
